  4. terrorist activities@X05.@X08  The problem with an impact@X05-@X08detonating device is that it
  5. must be kept in a very safe container so that it will not explode while being
  6. transported to the place where it is to be used@X05.@X08  This can be done by having a
  7. removable impact initiator@X05.@X08
  8.  
  9.      The best and most reliable impact initiator is one that uses factory
  10. made initiators or primers@X05.@X08  A no@X05.@X08 11 cap for black powder firearms is one such
  11. primer@X05.@X08  They usually come in boxes of 100@X05,@X08 and cost about $2@X05.@X0850@X05.@X08  To use such
  12. a cap@X05,@X08 however@X05,@X08 one needs a nipple that it will fit on@X05.@X08  Black powder nipples
  13. are also available in gun stores@X05.@X08  All that a person has to do is ask for a
  14. package of nipples and the caps that fit them@X05.@X08  Nipples have a hole that goes
  15. all the way through them@X05,@X08 and they have a threaded end@X05,@X08 and an end to put the

  38. whatever container is used to make the bomb out of@X05.@X08  The nipple is then screwed
  39. into the hole so that it fits tightly@X05.@X08  Then@X05,@X08 the cap can be carried and placed
  40. on the bomb when it is to be thrown@X05.@X08  The cap should be bent a small amount
  41. before it is placed on the nipple@X05,@X08 to make sure that it stays in place@X05.@X08  The
  42. only other problem involved with an impact detonating bomb is that it must
  43. strike a hard surface on the nipple to set it off@X05.@X08  By attaching fins or a small
  44. parachute on the end of the bomb opposite the primer@X05,@X08 the bomb@X05,@X08 when thrown@X05,@X08
  45. should strike the ground on the primer@X05,@X08 and explode@X05.@X08  Of course@X05,@X08 a bomb with
  46. mercury fulminate in each end will go off on impact regardless of which end it
  47. strikes on@X05,@X08 but mercury fulminate is also likely to go off if the person
  48. carrying the bomb is bumped hard@X05.@X08
